Greg Coyle was born in Cairo, Egypt, and has been lured by new and distant places ever since. He began his writing career as a journalist and newspaper editor in the Seattle area. For the last 25 years, he has worked as an advertising and marketing copywriter. He splits his time between Portland, Oregon, and Bucerías, Mexico.
